Research shows that group fitness classes help people stay motivated, building healthy habits more effectively than solo workouts. Keep the energy high and the dedication higher when you get inspired by group workouts at the Y!

Make a reservation to guarantee your spot in class. It’s easy to do: just log into our app (Apple) (Android) and select the fitness class you want to attend up to 48 hours ahead of class. Not yet a member but want to try a class before joining? You’re welcome to book a guest spot by calling your nearest Y location. A Welcome Center team member can get you signed up for our group fitness classes.

Nope! Exercise classes are included with your membership to the Y. Many of our members find that group exercise is a powerful connector. Get inspired by other class participants who will cheer your successes and motivate you to achieve your fitness goals. That’s the group effect!
Reservations are not required, but they are recommended in order to guarantee your spot in our most popular workout classes. Sign into our app to reserve your favorite group class.  If you’re just popping in and didn’t make a reservation, don’t worry! You’re welcome to join any fitness class where space is available.
Call the Welcome Center at your nearest YMCA location, and a team member can book a guest spot in our group exercise class for you. Keep in mind that our most popular classes fill quickly. You can make a reservation up to 48 hours ahead of class time. We hope you’ll enjoy the experience and consider becoming a Y member.
